#21 - Leftovers

I had some mashed potatoes left over from yesterday, so I decided to make this. I only added the cream cheese and then added a handful of cheese to melt on the top. So good, tasted like a twice baked potato.

#20 - I'll take mashed potatoes with a side of . .

Being from Idaho, one of my favorite foods is potatoes. Especially mashed potatoes. Just made these 30 minutes ago . . . yum!

Here's my made up recipe:

Boil Potatoes (Idaho Potatoes are the best) with skins on (best to boil in salt water.)

Peel off some skins (be careful they are hot.)

Mash Potatoes with Milk (whole) and Butter (if you want to be bad.)

Grind Salt and Pepper (I like lots of Pepper (thanks Dad)) into Potatoes.

Eat.

Oh, and to quote my sister Casi:

"I'll have mashed potatoes, with a side of french fries and a side of hashbrowns."

#17 - No More F Words... the Bug Zapper

Did you notice my last four posts all started with "F"?

Got it from my mom . . . I think you can only buy these in non-PETA friendly state . . . not sure which is more humane . . . smashing a bug or zapping a bug . . . either way, I think this is a lifesaver and use it at least a couple times a week.

Have you ever bought something from here? Did it work? I'd like to try this, this(careful there is sound in this link), or this. Ok, that last one is sort of gross.

Or what about this? (just kidding, however that would probably come in handy with a baby.)

And this was my favorite infomercial when I was a kid. I thought that food looked so good!

#16 - Frances

2 weeks ago, on Sunday November 2nd, Pepe received an early morning (ok, it was probably around 9am, but that is early for me on a Sunday) phone call. I was still in a sleepy haze, but I could tell that Pepe was talking to someone we knew.

Then he said, "oh really, that's awesome!"

My interest was peaked, I was fully awake wanting to know the good news.

Pepe (still on the phone), "So today at 2:30...great we'll be there."

I knew the good news...or at least had a really good idea.

Me (just as Pepe is hanging up the phone), "Frances is getting baptised, right?"

At 2:30pm later that day, Frances got baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

I was her youth leader for 2+ years and she has always been such a good example to me... inspired me with her faith and love for others.

I remember giving a lesson on the importance of marriage and without asking, she told me how important it was for her to get married in the Temple someday.

...that's a day I will never forget.

#15 - French Toast in Bed

Pepe makes the best breakfasts. Yesterday he surprised me with this. So buttery and sweet.

#14 - Football in the Fall

Last weekend, Pepe, Baby O and I went to my cousin Matt's football game at SVU (Southern Virgina University). It was probably one of the most exciting games I've seen, they won in overtime. And we even saw this guy there.

Afterwards, we ate at Frank's for the Memories (don't you just love that name for a resturaunt), took us on a tour of SVU and then went off roading at the site of the new football fields.

#12 - Dollar Bills

Did you that all U.S. paper currency is 6 inches long?

Dad - no need for your bulky tape measures on the job site anymore...you just need a dollar bill...that's a lot lighter.

Now, I just have to find a way to more of these...
