#31 - 2 fros and a bald baby
These two are the best baby-sitters. I think Baby O is hoping he'll get some of their hair someday. We had so much fun with them.

#30 - Jiffy Rolls

Made these for Thanksgiving (with BT, Kart Bucket, Lauren and Matt), it's a family tradition. Seriously, delicious rolls and they are super fast to make, hence the name . . .
JIFFY ROLLS
1/2 cup melted butter (plus more for coating)
2 cups water
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp salt
5 tsp yeast
1/2 cup warm water
1 tsp sugar
2 eggs
7 cups flour
Combine water, butter, sugar and salt. Let cool until lukewarm, if needed. Dissolve 5 tsp yeast in 1/2 cup warm water, along with 1 tsp sugar and set aside. Add 2 well beaten eggs to lukewarm ingredients. Beat in 3 cups of flour and then add yeast mixture. Then add 4 cups flour. Knead. Roll out, smother in butter, (it's actually just a light coat), cut into sections with pizza cutter, roll up. Let rise until double in bulk (about 2-4 hours). Bake at 375 for 15-20 minutes. Coat with butter (if you want, but not needed) when out of oven. Makes approximately 5 dozen small to medium rolls.
I like mine on the doughy side. Also, I made a mistake and ended up making 3 times the recipe. Which is totally fine with me because we had lots of leftovers.

#27 - Visiting Family
Written by my brother BTI am so very honored to guest blog for my sisters blog tonight. Last night me and my younger sister were blessed to be able to fly out to my sisters house for thanksgiving break. It has been such a joy to be able to take a break from school and be with my family. I already feel like I could return to school and have the energy to finish this semester strong. We arrived late last night, and spent a few hours just talking and catching up. Today we went to church, and then spent the rest of the day relaxing. As is traditional in this blog, the food has been excellent, we have enjoyed some tasty quesadilla's, and some exceptional seasonal egg nog. These past two days have already been the highlight of my entire semester of school thus far, and It has also been fun to see our new nephew Baby O. He is so animated and so joyful all the time. I could only pray to have such well mannered and behaved children. As Thanksgiving holiday soon approaches, I feel inclined to say that I am thankful for such an awesome older sister who has given me such a great path to follow in.

#26 - Butter

Right after I had Baby O, I was a little overwhelmed. I was a new mom, we were moving, I was sleep deprived, I was scared to be a new mom . . . I was sort of a mess.
So, my mom shared with me this quote, one of her favs:
"The only thing better than BUTTER,
is MORE BUTTER."
is MORE BUTTER."
- Peter Thunell
All she had to do was say this, and I would start laughing.

#23 - I've Got a Jumper . . .

. . . named Baby O.
He's the Michael Jordan of baby jumpers. Literally, he can catch some air.
Overprotective/Paranoid Mom in me: "I'm beginning to wonder if this is safe?"
Free-spirited Mom in me: "Oh, but he has so much fun."
Overprotective/Paranoid Mom in me: "No really, can his brain get jumbled all around from the jumping?"
Free-spirited Mom in me: "Stop being paranoid, he can't do this when he's your age . . . They need to invent this for adults."
