#520 - mini gingerbread men with text bubble

Oster and I made some gingerbread cookies the other day and I decided to add a text bubble to one of them.
I was having too much fun...

I made sports players for Oster...
 I added smiley faces...

Here's Oster's cookie he decorated...

And here's mine...I didn't plan the spacing right...oh well...you get the picture...

ps...this gingerbread cookie recipe looks amazing (not the one i used)

These look so yummy! I haven't made gingerbread cookies in years. Maybe I'll steal your recipe. Did you use the one from the moose cookies?

Are you back to work yet? Because if you are and you still have time to do all these cute/fun activities then how do you do it?

OH, and by the way, I LOVED the baby announcement you sent out for Parker. You are SO talented with a camera! Have you thought about making that your job? I know I'd hire you if I lived anywhere even close!!

Hey Lindsay,
Thanks! I know I haven't made gingerbread cookies ever in my adult life:) I used this recipe: http://www.food.com/recipe/the-most-wonderful-gingerbread-cookies-80156

At first they weren't my favorite, but they grew on me and I loved the hint of lemon. I also left out the ground cloves b/c I didn't have any. My mom's moose cookies are hard, but are good too!

The reason I have time (and not much at that) to do this stuff is b/c I didn't go back to work. It was a super hard decision, but I really couldn't handle working & taking care of a baby and toddler :)

Thanks about the birth announcement. I have fun with the camera, but I'm sure my boys just want me to put it away sometimes :) I would like to do it for my job sometime, but maybe that would lose the "fun" of it...wow know?! I really want to live close to you too!
