#587 - Call Your Mom

I saw this on a friend's facebook wall.  I couldn't agree with it more.

I love talking to my mom on the phone.

And I loved listening to This I Believe essay on NPR today.  I couldn't have said it better.  Give it a listen (or you can read it) if you get a second.  It's all about calling your mom.  Here are two of my favorite quotes from it:

"I believe in calling your mother. No matter where you are, no matter what you are doing, a phone call to your mother will make the world seem less daunting and help you feel stronger."

"That’s what I believe in: the healing, strengthening connections and communications between mothers and daughters."
